I’ve just started using the posture pump C Spine trainer to hopefully help, or keep at bay the stenosis in my neck. I do notice that after using the trainer that the dull ache in my left hand middle finger disappears, so pressure on my pinched nerves is being relieved. I was scheduled for a C-Spine fusion, but 2 Harvard Med Doctors disagreed as to whether I needed the surgery, so I delayed it. I hope to use a program of exercise & the posture pump to avoid surgery. I plan to have another MRI 12 months from now to see how my stenosis has progressed after a year of this therapy.
Given the affordable price, the device is made well enough for its intended use. Strapping in is not too hard to figure out. Using the device can be uncomfortable depending on the type of condition your neck is in. I don’t have many symptoms & my range of motion is good, so I would consider myself a good candidate for this device. Since you have control over the inflation pressure, you can decide how much of a “stretch” or “curve” you would like to re-introduce to your spine. The instructions suggest starting off slowly, using moderate inflation pressures & durations, which I think is good advice. You’ll need to acclimate your neck to using the pump. The device works best when used on a firm surface, like a carpeted floor. I don’t recommend using it in bed, as the surface is too soft for the pump to work your spine. My only criticism of the Posture Pump is that I think the inflation bladder could be a little wider (for comfort reasons), but it is possible that if it were wider, that the desired spinal curve may not be achieved during inflation.
To summarize, I’d recommend the Posture Pump C-Spine Trainer. It does relieve symptoms. It is a program that you will need to employ daily – but don’t be too eager. Take your time building up to that daily routine. If the Posture Pump can help you avoid or delay surgery it will be well worth it. I’ll know more in 12 months.

I was informed by a chiropractor 20 years ago that I have what he called a “goose neck.” In other words, a reverse curvature. It’s daily compounded by my career which is pet groomer. I look down to some extent during the entire course of my work day. I’ve been told over the years, to place a towel behind my neck on the edge of the bed and let gravity do the work. One chiropractor sold me a posture pump about 9 or so years ago, used it a few times, then stopped, like so many of us do 🙂 At some point, I even donated it to a thrift shop and I hope someone has been helped by it. Anyway, about 3 months ago, I started to wake up in the middle of the night with a right hand that was completely asleep. First I tried acupuncture because I thought it was my wrist and not my neck. I finally went to a chiropractor (hadn’t been in years) and he told me what was going on and to get the towel, blah blah blah. Obviously, it was time to take it seriously since it had gotten progressively worse over the past 9 years. I’ve used the posture pump now for only 3 nights and have already felt a lessening in waking up during the night with a numb right hand. Last night I only woke up briefly with some slight tingling. I follow the directions carefully, warming up the neck first then pumping, holding for 10 seconds and releasing, doing this 15 times to further warm up the neck. I then pump to what I can tolerate which is discomfort, but not pain, there’s definitely a fine line there. For me this is currently 2 1/4 pumps. The discomfort of these sessions has lessened, the more I use it. Last night I even fell asleep for the 15 minutes 🙂 I knew this was going to be an uncomfortable process. I mean, for crying out loud, I’m trying to reverse the curvature of my neck vertebrae 🙂 Doc said I just need to use it daily until I’ve accomplished this and then maintenance.

I purchased this after finding out I have straight neck syndrome. For years I have been suffering with knots in my shoulders, (I’m told from stress and anxiety), which has led to myofascial pain and trigger point pain. That along with straight neck is literally killing me. I suffer headaches and lightheadedness daily in addition to the pain. I started this posture pump today and plan to use it for 15 minutes each day minimum, sometimes twice a day when I can find the time, and will increase the air in the pump each week. I started with two pumps. It was not painful, just a slight discomfort from the contraption and the overall position and having to lay still like that. In addition to the posture pump, I have started wearing a brace on my shoulders during the day to help with my posture, (which has declined due to working on a computer for 20 years with bad ergonomics, and being on my smart phone looking down all the time. ) I am only 38 years old, so I am really hoping the combination of these two will help me get back to normal. The only reason I rated this 4 stars is because it’s expensive.

This traction device has been absolutely wonderful in helping to alleviate my neck and shoulder pain. I have multiple issues with three of the discs in my neck (stenosis with pinched nerves). The MRI report indicated that I have a "reversal of the normal cervical lordosis." The neurosurgeon recommended a second course of physical therapy (injections did not help). I had already scheduled my first session of physical therapy when I did some research on what types of exercises I would be doing when I came across this product.
After reading a few reviews I figured I’d give it a try for a week. If it did not work for me, I’d send it back. As soon as I received it, I started using it – just two pumps at first for only two minutes. After a few days the pain, spasms, twitches, numbness, and tingling that traveled from my neck down my left shoulder (front and back), arms, and fingers were gone. GONE! There was some residual soreness after having four months of intense pain, but that was minimal. I am positive that this device is helping to restore the curve in my neck and eliminating the pain. For months, friends, family, and coworkers would ask "how bad is the pain today?". Now I tell them that the pain is gone.
As I mentioned earlier, it took a few days to feel the positive effects of using the Posture Pump. I also had some soreness along the back of my neck, I’m sure, because the neck was not accustomed to having the normal curve. Therefore, the tendons or ligaments needed to stretch. There are also "must-do" warm up post work-out stretches. It’s been nearly three weeks since I received this device, and I’m now in my second week of physical therapy. I return to my doctor next week for a follow-up and have only good things to report.

AMAZON PRIME Review of the Posture Pump 1000 and 2000 Products.
I am going to skip the normal antics you see in many reviews and simply tell you what my experience was.
I must say first and foremost that I have no investment in this product nor know anyone at the company that sells it or have any interest whatsoever in it. My only interest here is to share what I experienced because no other product I have used or bought in the past has made such a difference in my well-being. Having said that I understand that because we are all different we will have different experiences and your experience may or may not be the same.
I bought this product with a lot of hesitation, as I am sure many people do. I saw some of the reviews that claim the product wasn’t packed properly or that it lacked instructions, etc., but after paying several thousand dollars in “Chiropractors” and being told by one about the “Lordex® Spine” treatment that would cost me several thousand dollars and many hours of my time, and reading some of the reviews of other people that bought this product I decided to buy it.
I did go to the inventors or original marketers’ website at http://www.posturepump.com and found extensive documentation, videos, lectures and studies that have been done on this product, and most importantly the reason why this product works; in other words what the product does to your spine and why that will make you feel better. The explanations and instructional videos are easy to understand without the use of highly technical terms or “hocus pocus” procedures or vague explanations. I then understood the why of my neck and back problems, and so I decided to buy it. This was on a Thursday evening with sharp pains in my back and neck and after being turned down by the local “Chiropractor” who works from 9-11am and 4-6pm Monday to Friday. (What a life huh?)
I bought the product through Amazon Prime, and received it promptly on the following Tuesday as promised. (I am sure that who you buy from makes a difference. I bought this through Amazon Prime from Pro Therapy Supplies.) After work I opened the Amazon box and found the 2 products the Model 1000 (Neck product) and the Model 2000 (Back Product) neatly packed in their full color original boxes. After some of the reviews listed here I expected to find no documentation, but indeed the contrary was true. Inside each box I found 2 sheets explaining in full detail how to use the product and giving extensive advice about what to do and what NOT to do. Each box for each product also contained a full color brochure about the Posture Pump line of products with the information about the company, their website, phone numbers, address, and again explanations of why the product works, what it does to your spine.
Hesitantly but eager to find out if the products I purchased with my hard earn money were going to alleviate the excruciating pain I was suffering I extracted the products from their respective boxes, set them up and first used the Posture Pump® Cervical Disc Hydrator® (Model 1000). I went through the entire routine as clearly instructed in the two double sided printed black and white sheets included in the package, and although I did experience a little pain, by the time I finished about 10 minutes later, I could simply not believe the difference that it made in my neck. I was immediately able to turn my head in both directions without pain, the numbness in my left hand subsided and I felt invigorated and a relief I had not experienced in YEARS of going to the infamous “Chiropractors” and paying hundreds if not thousands of dollars in “adjustments” that many times did not last an hour or made me feel worse.
Encouraged by those results I immediately proceeded to setup the Back model 2000. I did the warm-up exercises as instructed and proceeded to follow the routine CLEARLY explained in the instruction sheets included in the box. After 15 minutes or so, once I was done doing my whole back, starting from the bottom to the top, I did the after or “cool down” exercises and got up. Again, I could not believe the immediate results that I experienced. It was palpable, real. My back and neck pain were gone. I could sit down and get up without feeling the sharp pain that goes along with such movements in most back pain victims. I laid down in my bed, upright, downright, sideways, got up, sat down, laid down again, kneeled down, got up, stood on one leg, moved my head up, down, side to side and felt no pain; the pain was GONE!
I know that many people will have and may have had different experiences, but after reading most of the reviews and most importantly, buying the product myself and personally experiencing the results, I cannot but give this product the top review that it deserves and I hope you find this review helpful.
Do yourself a favor. First, don’t buy a used product and expect to receive it pristine and with all the instructions as the original manufacturer packs them. You are investing in your health. Second, follow the instructions to the letter. Third, remember that your back problems are a result of a life time of bad habits, issues or injuries that need to be corrected and that it will, as everything else in this world, take time to completely heal. Yes my results were immediate and outstanding but yours may not be that defined. Be patient, work with it, continue and keep up the routines on a daily basis and you will see results. It did for me.
This product really works, it worked and continues to work for me in an incredible way, and whoever thought of it deserves a big KUDOS for it.

I have been to the chiropractor from 2000 to 2009 and he recommends the pressure pump 1000. I can testify this really works well for my neck.
Start off slowly doing 1 minute intervals and work your way up to 20 minutes. Chiropractor showed me: 1 minute pumped up, hold, 15 seconds rest, and again. First couple weeks work your way up to 10 minutes and keep building up the minutes there after. This is slowly introducing the cervical to stretching, and any building discs will slowly go back. This slowly stretched your neck and lubricated the discs… the discs when manipulated lubricated themselves, if you don’t stretch, your spine gets stiff. If you hurry through the stretching and over do it, you’ll feel sore and the cervical irritated, so rest for a while till the sources goes away and start over slowly 1 minute intervals and gradually work your way up.
My daughter moved and took mine, so, i need to get another one. I can’t believe this is $120, at my Contractor’s office it was only $39 since I was his patient. All I can say it is worth the money.

I own the Posture Pump Cervical Disc Hydrator & Elliptical Back Rocker. I use them both almost daily in tandem. They have helped reduce my back and neck pain from what it was. I spent the greater part of my 20’s looking for some relief from chronic pain. Here is I a list of things I have tried…
Acupuncture, Alexander technique, Bikram Yoga, chiropractors, cymbalta, lyrica, cursing the cosmos, deep tissue massage, Eastern medicine, exercise, heat wraps, hot/cold dips, hydrocodone, oxycodone, ibuprofen, advil, alleve, inversion tables, knee separator pillows, kneeling chairs, medical marijuana, nada chair, inflatable neck tracktion that goes around the neck, physical therapy, posture bands/braces, Tension Myositis Syndrome literature, trigger point therapy, Yoga, yoga ball chair, various self massage tools… and almost had surgery at one point after being told I had Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, which I declined after not trusting the doctor nor the diagnosis, even if I was experiencing similar symptoms.
So, I’ve tried a lot of things, but nothing works as well as this TO DATE. I’m not pain free, nor am I 100% satisfied with my results. I’d say it’s reduced the back pain by 50% and the neck pain by 25%. I have used them everyday for 6 months (well, almost). So, give it a go, maybe it will work well enough for you. My own experience is that it’s very difficult if near impossible to get rid of back/neck (and sometimes arm) pain. I am grateful I found something that gives a moderate amount of relief.
I also recommend exercising and stretching along with this.

Recently I had hit my head hard on the frozen ground while sledding with my grandchildren. In about a week I started getting vertigo which despite repeated manuevers specific for inner ear problems by my chiropractor I continued to endure. Urged by my husband to go to the medical doctor to make sure I didn’t have inner ear infection I was given a series of xrays which showed that my neck was perfectly straight instead of having the natural curve. I took the xrays to my chiropractor who explained that this was probably due to the car accident I was in at the age of 10. He suggested that I get a Posture Pump. I didn’t know what to expect from usuing the Posture Pump but knew I was having problems with my voice and being a singer was very vexed by that. Other issues included an abnormal tension in my ligaments and light-headedness whenever I tipped my head backwards. The first time I used the Posture Pump I began felt some weakness, tiredness and tension in my neck muscles, but within a week that was gone. I continued to use the posture pump regularly and was pleased to note that my range of singing was improving as was the feeling of tenseness that accompanied it. In two to three weeks I was pleased to realize that the vertigo was also gone! Best of all I am beginning to enjoy greater flexibility in my neck from less inflammation and better hydration. Although the arthritis and degeneration I have developed (I’m 59 now) is not completely gone, I am hopeful that with time, proper nutrition and drinking plenty of water I should become better instead of worse. I’ve also been sharing my Posture Pump with a friend, who has also experience some improvement from neck and shoulder pain and a feeling clearer thinking after using it.

This is a perfect example of overpriced contraptions that perform a simple task, but have their pricetags upgraded because of being a “medical” appliance. If I was the creator of this device and sold it for more than $50, I would feel ashamed of myself. I receive better results and more relief rolling up the old pillow I already owned than I ever did from this item. Worthless plastic that I’ll be throwing away next time I move, and I can’t believe that my neck pain made me gullible enough to buy this. Lesson learned. This thing literally sits in a corner collecting dust while I stretch my neck over a ten year-old pillow. What a waste. Don’t buy this.
Update: Throwing it away right now. Here’s a pic of it in my trash. If your Chiropractor recommended this, I’d recommend a new Chiropractor.

I have had this item for a little over a month, it is a replace for one that I’ve had for over 6 years.
I have been using the new one for 4 weeks, 3 to 4 times a week, for 15 minutes on its highest level (6-8 pumps).
The problem is the velcro on the straps.
1) The straps with the velcro on them are narrow.
2) The way the straps are made the edging material covers most of the velcro leaving only the center most part of the velcro available for attachment.
What happens is that starting at about pump 3 the straps begin slipping, I I need to start all over.
To avoid this I now hold the straps together with one hand while using the other to do the pumping.
BTW this issue can not be seen from the pictures.
MHO
For something that is a little bit of plastic and cloth costing over 100.xx I expect better.
I would look around for the same thing from another manufacture.
Does it help my neck? – Yes.
Will I buy another one when this one wears out? Yes but not from this manufacture.
